My name is Laura Hosfeldt, and I've been a lifelong native of rural Illinois. I received my Associate of Arts from Shawnee Community College in 2008, my Bachelor of Science in secondary English education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2010, and my Master of Arts in Higher Education Administrative Services from McKendree University in 2014. Though none of that has anything to do with computers, I've discovered that I thoroughly enjoy web design. I currently work full-time as a high school English/speech/drama/vocal music teacher and part time as the worship director at Vienna First United Methodist Church. On my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing piano, and spending time with my husband and our dog, Taz.

I started Laura Adaline Creative Designs after noticing there was a lack of web design options for small businesses in this area. Many places have prices that are more suitable for large corporations in bigger cities, which, of course, is fine for them. My parents run a small business, though, and the prices many places asked to build a website were simply unnecessary for the product they needed.
A web presence is truly necessary for anyone in today's world, whether they're a small business like my parents' business, a church like the one I work at, or any other group that depends on publicity. My goal is to help you receive all the benefits of having that web presence, but at a fraction of the price that larger web developers charge.
